- Jeg gรฅr pรฅ skolen โ I go to school โ note pรฅ skolen, not i skolen.
- lekser โ homework โ usually plural: Har du gjort leksene? = Have you done your homework?
- Jeg har mรธte klokka ni โ I have a meeting at nine โ no article: รฅ ha mรธte.
- Jeg har hjemmekontor i dag โ I am working from home today โ hjemmekontor means home office.
- Jeg har fri โ I am off work โ Jeg har fri i morgen = I have tomorrow off.
Practice questions
- How do you say “I work as a teacher”? Options: Jeg jobber som en lรฆrer, Jeg jobber som lรฆrer, Jeg er jobber lรฆrer.
- What does “Hva jobber du med?” ask? Options: Where do you live?, When do you start work?, What do you do for a living?.
- What does “Jeg har fri i morgen” mean? Options: I have tomorrow off, I start tomorrow, I work late tomorrow.
- What does “lekser” mean? Options: Lessons, Teachers, Homework.
