Financial Freedom

In 1994, we achieved financial freedom by focusing on cash flow. Rather than relying on savings, our goal was to generate enough income from investments to cover our living expenses.

How we started

In 1994, we were making $10,000 per month from our smart investments in rental properties. Our living expenses were only $3,000 per month. Because of this we achieved financial freedom as our money worked for us.

What if we combine investing? It’s one of the scarier subjects when it comes to money. What about accounting? It’s probably the most boring topic. As a result what if we create a fun and entertaining board game that teaches people exactly what we did?

At Rich Dad, we believe in the power of people teaching people. It’s a more effective way to spread knowledge and reach a larger audience.

The more people we serve, the more effective we become.

The mantras at Rich Dad

A board game is a fun way to learn from each other and teach one another.

Playing the game helps you learn from different strategies of other players without risking real money. It also encourages discussions about money and investing that are often not talked about.

And you have fun while you learn!

In October 1996, we launched the CASHFLOW board game in Singapore to about 500 players. It was exciting to see how our experiment with board games turned out.

The CASHFLOW Game and the CASHFLOW Clubs

The CASHFLOW game was a success and caught the attention of the New York Times. They wanted to write a story about it, which made us very happy!

“We were surprised to learn that there is a CASHFLOW Club in New York with about 1,000 members. We were even more surprised to find out that there are CASHFLOW Clubs all over the world.”

CASHFLOW game in action!

There are around 3,500 CASHFLOW Clubs worldwide. Specifically these clubs are groups of people that regularly meet and play the game together. They meet at various places like coffee shops, offices, and even pizza parlors.

Being part of a CASHFLOW Club is important because it lets you play the game often. Repetition helps us learn, and there are always new things to discover from the game. It’s a journey of growth and progress.

The CASHFLOW Clubs

These clubs are important to us and were established in 1996 dedicated to fulfilling our mission. They teach, encourage, and support each other to achieve their financial goals and dreams. The CASHFLOW Clubs are reaching people and helping them improve their financial lives. We are grateful for every CASHFLOW Club that exists.

One Word of Caution in the Cashflow spēle

“We offer support to CASHFLOW spēle and CASHFLOW Clubs that focus on helping their members improve their financial well-being. We will stand behind you all day long.”

Kim Kiyosaky and Robert Kiyosaky guarantee

Some people join a CASHFLOW club to get rich. But, they try to sell you something instead of helping you.

Take a moment if you’re at a CASHFLOW Club and receive a sales pitch for another product or business. Consider the club’s true intention. Decide if you want to continue with it. Thank you.

CASH FLOW VS. SELL THE ASSET FOR CASH

cashflow small deal game cardCASHFLOW is a game-changer! It’s all about making savvy choices in the real world. As a result you may find yourself at a crossroads, and the best part is that there’s no wrong answer!

Our golden rule is to keep every dollar in the asset column. Whether it’s from a profitable property or another investment, we make sure that the funds stay within the asset column.

We avoid splurging on credit card bills, car loans, or home mortgages. Instead, we reinvest the profits into acquiring or creating new assets.

Our recent experiences have presented us with such opportunities. In one instance, we sold an asset. We channeled the proceeds into another property. This investment rewarded us with even better cash flow.

On another occasion, we retained an asset. We then sought out a tenant who adds positively to our cash flow.

We’re immensely grateful to our vibrant CASHFLOW Clubs, especially for all the incredible individuals who actively join in them. Above all together, we’re unlocking a future filled with financial success and abundance!

“Do I keep my asset which is giving me cash flow, or sell it and take the cash?”

Often throughout the game you will be faced with the decision of,

Please support one another in having the financially free lives you all deserve.

With gratitude,
