If you could have something named after you, what would it be?
You know what’s fascinating about legacies? They often show the path we’ve walked and the dreams we’ve carried since childhood. As a passionate advocate for educational accessibility and lifelong learning, I have dedicated my life to education. I started by teaching in kindergartens, igniting my love for enlightening young minds.

Later, I launched educational courses through Mondosol, emphasizing the importance of making learning accessible to everyone. The idea of having a school named after me resonates deeply with my journey. It combines my early experiences with my adult dreams.

From Street Cleaner Dreams to Educational Reality 🚧
It’s funny how life works. As a child, I actually wanted to be a street cleaner (and even volunteered as one in San Piero Patti!). I remember the joy of being part of something bigger. Cleaning the streets made my village beautiful.

This experience echoes my passion for improving lives in a different way today. Now, years later, I’m clearing paths of a different kind. I am paving the way for students to access quality education across 102 languages.
Why a School? 🏫
When thinking about having something named after me, a school feels right because it:
- Shows continuous learning and growth
- Creates a space where dreams can take root
- Connects communities through education
- Honors both teaching and playing—two fundamental aspects of learning
What memories do you have of your school that shaped who you are today? Feel free to share your stories in the comments!
The Street Where Dreams Began ⚽

There’s something poetic about naming a school on the street where I played soccer as a kid. It would symbolize how play and education are intertwined—something I’ve experienced firsthand as a kindergarten teacher at Acapedia AS.

Those soccer games taught me as much about teamwork and persistence as any classroom. Have you had any experiences in your childhood that influenced your path in education or career? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
Building More Than Buildings 🏗️
A school named after someone isn’t just about the physical structure. It’s about:
- The values it shows
- The community it builds
- The futures it shapes
- The traditions it creates
Each classroom can tell a story about its students, echoing how unique legacies blend into the community’s narrative. Can you think of a school or a teacher who left a lasting impact on you? Please share your thoughts!

Making Education Accessible 🌍
Mondosol’s mission is to make education accessible across languages and cultures. Educational accessibility means ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

Similarly, a named school would stand as a symbol of educational accessibility, representing innovation. It would be a place where:
- Every child feels welcome
- Multiple languages are celebrated
- Learning through play is encouraged
- Community connections are strengthened
Imagine a school that celebrates diverse cultures—what do you think that would look like? I encourage you to share your vision!
Looking Ahead 🔮
It doesn’t matter if it’s a school, a street, or an educational method. The most important thing is the impact it has on future generations. I’ve seen education from multiple angles, through roles as a substitute teacher and educational leadership consultant. I know that our greatest legacy lies in the lives we touch and the learners we inspire.

For example, consider how Malala Yousafzai’s advocacy for girls’ education continues to inspire millions globally. What legacy do you aspire to create in your own life?
