We don’t want to reinvent the wheel. Ringerike og Hole Røde Kors already runs a successful homework help program at two of Hønefoss’ largest schools:
- Ullerål skole – Wednesdays 14:00-16:30 (grades 5-7)
- Benterud skole – Mondays 13:50-15:00 (grades 5-7)
Their volunteers provide free homework assistance to children who need extra support. We want to support and expand this model by:
- Helping recruit more volunteers (currently 16 volunteers for 200+ children)
- Adding recreational and social activities alongside homework help
- Extending to more days per week if space and volunteers allow

If Ringerike Kommune provides accessible spaces where children and youth can socialize safely, we aim to collaborate with:

Free Trial Model
