Where Mondosol uses AI, and where it never will
We use AI tools openly in how this site is built. Pretending otherwise would be dishonest, and readers deserve to know which parts of Mondosol a machine helped make and which parts a person is answerable for.

Where we do use AI
Mondosol publishes over a thousand lessons across fifteen courses. AI helps us build them at that scale.
- Lesson drafting. Vocabulary sets, example sentences and quiz questions are drafted with AI assistance against a fixed CEFR level and a fixed template.
- Illustrations and mascots. Our characters are produced with AI image tools. They are illustrations, never photographs presented as real.
- Editing support. Proofreading, translation checks and metadata.
Where we never use AI
Some things do not get automated, because automating them would make them worthless.
- We do not publish AI-written news or press releases. Anything reported as fact is written and checked by a person.
- We do not invent quotes, testimonials, reviews or ratings. If a review exists, a real person wrote it.
- We do not use AI to generate statistics, sources or citations. Every figure we publish traces back to a real document.
- We do not create images of real, identifiable people.
A person is always accountable
AI assistance never removes human responsibility. Every lesson is reviewed by a named person before publication, and every article carries a human byline. No AI system is credited as an author on Mondosol, because a machine cannot answer for what it wrote.
If something on this site is wrong, a person is responsible for it and a person will fix it.
Why we say this out loud
Mondosol exists to teach languages and life skills honestly. A learner trusting us with their time has a right to know how the material in front of them was made. Publishing this policy costs us nothing if we are telling the truth, and it should cost us your trust if we are not.
