How to Buy a Mondosol Course by Bank Transfer (SEPA and International)

Ten-euro banknotes and euro cent coins on a table

Prefer to pay with a normal bank transfer instead of a card? You can. Mondosol accepts direct bank transfers (SEPA and international) for courses and memberships. This guide walks you through every step, from checkout to your first lesson, and explains what happens while your payment is on its way.

When a bank transfer makes sense

A bank transfer is a good choice if:

  • you don’t have a credit card, or prefer not to use one online;
  • your company, school or family is paying for you;
  • you are used to paying by transfer from your home banking app, as many people in Italy and the rest of Europe are.

The only difference from paying by card is time: your order starts as soon as your payment has arrived and been checked, not instantly.

Step by step: paying by bank transfer

  1. Choose your course or membership. Open the pricing page or a course page and add it to your cart.
  2. Go to checkout. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one right there with your email address. See how to sign up.
  3. Pick “Direct Bank Transfer (SEPA/International)” as the payment method and place your order.
  4. Note your order number. It appears on the order confirmation page and in the email we send you, together with our bank details. If you can’t see the bank details, write to support@mondosol.com and we’ll send them.
  5. Make the transfer from your bank app or online banking. Write your order number as the payment reference (in Italian banking apps this is often called causale).
  6. Send your payment confirmation (a screenshot or PDF receipt from your bank) to support@mondosol.com.

What happens after you pay

  • Right after checkout, your order is on hold. That’s normal: it means we are waiting for your transfer.
  • When the money arrives and we have matched it to your order number, we process the order and you get a confirmation email.
  • Your course then appears in My Learning, ready to start.

While you wait, you can already try the free lessons: the first lessons of every course are free, with no card needed.

How long it takes

It depends on your bank and where you send the money from:

  • SEPA transfer in euro (from Italy and most of Europe): usually arrives by the next business day.
  • SEPA Instant: if your bank offers it, the money usually arrives within seconds.
  • International transfer from outside the SEPA area: can take several business days, and your bank may charge fees.

Weekends and bank holidays add time, because banks process standard transfers on business days.

Tips to avoid delays

  • Always use the order number as reference. Without it, we may not know which order the payment belongs to.
  • Transfer the exact amount shown in your order, in euro.
  • If your bank charges fees, choose the option where you pay them (often called “OUR”), so the full amount reaches us.
  • Send the payment confirmation to support right away, especially for international transfers.

Other ways to pay

If you’d rather start immediately, checkout also offers instant methods. Depending on your country, these can include cards, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, SEPA Direct Debit and MyBank, which many Italian banks support. With these, your course is usually ready right after payment.

What should I write as the payment reference?

Your order number. It lets us match your payment to your order quickly.

When can I start my course?

As soon as your payment has arrived and been verified. You will get an email, and the course appears in My Learning. Meanwhile, the free lessons are open to everyone.

My order says “on hold”. Is something wrong?

No. “On hold” means we are waiting for your transfer. It changes once the payment is confirmed.

I paid but nothing happened. What do I do?

Check that you used your order number as the reference, then email your payment receipt to support@mondosol.com with your order number.
